What is the relationship between the dominance of the financial interests centered in the City of London and the competitive performance of British industry? How does Britain reconcile an advanced capitalist economy alongside a traditional social and political structure? How great is the tension between domestic forces that seek closer economic and political integration with Europe and those pushing for greater engagement with Britain's former English-speaking colonies? Is British foreign policy driven more by economics than national security? This course addresses these and other important questions regarding British political economy by contextualizing current issues within the wider evolution of the country's political, economic and social systems since 1945. Prerequisite: Admission to the London Internship Program.

Despite what others say about Malter for 201, he was amazing for Small Business Initiative. The class was more project-based with your client, with rarely any lectures (but when there were it was interesting). A very nice and caring guy who made the experimental consulting class honestly a very fun and valuable experience - highly recommend it!

This class is super easy, all you have to do is show up and she'll at least give you a B+. She even told the class that she has never given anyone below a B+....after the first couple of weeks it is really had to get to class since it is so boring and completely useless!

Awesome teacher. Very understanding and she gives assignments that let students be creative. I loved her class.

you guys are all on crazy pills. lynnea is an awefully tough and picky grader and the class itself is more or less worthless without the virtue of being a blowoff. i suffered all semester doing pointless projects while sitting through her haphazard lectures, and i urge you to avoid the same fate

He is extremely strict about the participation points which are allocated at the end of the semester, these allow him to basically give the student whatever grade he feels. You could have a 100% on the assignments, but if he didn't like you he will give you no participation points (out of 200)

Brilliant teacher and her class is really great but the assignments are essentially worthless. The material is wonderful and the class is fun.
