I personally just didn't find the content or her teaching style very interesting/engaging. It's not terribly hard to do well, but she definitely expects quite a lot from you, especially compared to some of the other professors. Not too much support from her, but the way to do well is to participate as much as possible

Cultural Expression was one of the most engaging courses I have taken at WashU. Prof. Cuillé expects a lot of you, but the outcome is evident as every student improved their French writing, speaking, reading, and listening skills. Both books and movies were used as course materials, and the topics were relevant, interesting, and memorable. (Taken in the spring of 2022)
