One of the best professor's I've ever had. Extremely intelligent individual but knows how to communicate with us lowly students. Lectures are very interesting and engaging. I don't think I would've enjoyed my class if I didn't have him as my professor. Very funny, kind-hearted, helpful, and considerate of everyone's thoughts. A real gem!

Brian Talbot is, by far, the best professor I have had to this point. His lectures are engaging and it is readily apparent that he is an extremely intelligent individual. If you have an opportunity to take a class with him, take advantage.

I had Brian Talbert for biomedical ethics. He was a great prof, very passionate about philosophy. He geared the class such that those with no experience with philosophy could understand the material. The load was quite manageable, though if you dislike group work, partner work, or the chance of being randomly called on, he may not be right for you.

He is amazing at what he does. He does give weekly homework and quizzes, but these are actually pretty helpful. He is funny and he really cares about his students.

Brilliant professor. I'm so glad I got him my first semester, as his class motivated me to continue studying philosophy. He's very thorough in discussing lecture material, and you can tell he thinks hard before answering every question. I improved my writing and critical thinking skills tremendously.

There are few professors who care about their students' success like Talbot does. He does everything he can to help his students during class time, and is extraordinarily helpful in office hours. He'll have a long conversation with you specifically about your views for an essay. Interesting topics discussed in class, would highly recommend it.

I had Brian for an intro level philosophy class, Environmental Ethics. Brian is extremely patient, respectful, and receptive of students' questions in and out of class, absolutely hilarious in a way that doesn't interrupt lectures but keeps them fun and engaging. I didn't sit through a single class without laughing several times. Learned a LOT.

Brian is a passionate and funny lecturer, who is willing to talk to the students. He speaks pretty fast though, and a fast-speaking philosopher is sometimes hard to understand. But overall Brian's class is worth taking
