loved this class!!! the professor was great and super engaging and had a good grasp of what the students were thinking, and connected the concepts to a lot of non-money markets which was cool. I felt like I learned a lot, and if you paid attention in class and took notes, the class honestly wasn't that bad. BIGGEST advantage I had in this class was having taken Calculus III already though - a lot of the topics covered we had already gone over in that class, so it easily made sense to me, but a lot of other people were struggling. Theres also weekly homework assignments but its just completion.

Ahn is a funny guy and personable, cracks lots of jokes about gambling and poker. However, when it comes to teaching, there's room to improve. Sometimes very unclear about the material, and there are typos on almost ever single assignment/exam which is frustrating. The material itself isn't hard, but I went to office hours every Wednesday!

Horrible lecturer even though the class is lecture-based. He also makes typos on every HW and test, even the final! Very carless, both about his work and about the students. He does occasionally go on interesting tangents but those don't make up for how badly he teaches. Exams are most of your grade btw, so be ready for that. Would not take again.

Professor Ahn is a funny guy, as he would constantly share his passion for gambling, but he isn't really good at lecturing. He seemed to make topics harder than it should've been and sped through lectures. He also changed the format of the tests to include more MCs than FRQs which made the tests more difficult than previous years.

Speeds through lectures, definitely knows his stuff but does NOT know how to teach. Practice tests before midterms were a breeze compared to the real thing. Doesn\'t care about the students. He loves to tell us that "grades don\'t matter" but also makes it hard to do well in his class. You really have to teach yourself bc lectures are SO unclear

One of the best professor's I've ever had, solely due to his lectures. They are so entertaining and awesome. Class isn't too much work and the tests are straight forward.

Interesting guy, talks about random things in lectures. Practice exams and answer keys FILLED with errors that really inhibit learning. Not a horrible class if you do all the practice, but plan on reaching out to TA's a lot to get clarification on incorrect solutions.

Professor, he's a caring dude, but the lectures he makes is not good. For his tests, do the previous practice test to ensure your success. Also go to office hours for the problem sets, it may or may not be helpful. During class he does make interesting points not related to the lectures.

Lectures are okay but he can ramble and the class loses focus/understanding. Material can be manageable but he makes exams a bit tougher and will admit this. He doesn't seem to care too much about the students and their success (e.g. canceling OH exam weeks). Overall, a fair class made harder than needed.

Professor Ahn is an absolutely outstanding person and teacher. He is not only extremely intelligent/knowledgeable on the subject, but he is also accomodating and understanding for students who are struggling outside of class. He gives extensions as needed and knows that we are trying our best. He is definitely a top WashU professor.

Professor Ahn is a really amazing person. He truly cares about his students succeeding and was very accommodating when it came to helping students outside of class. He helped to make the difficult content as accessible as possible.

Professor Ahn is a friendly and approachable professor. He truly cares about his students. He understood that being in a once-in-a-century pandemic with little to no breaks could take a toll on students' mental health. Thus, he adjusted accordingly by being extremely accessible outside of class and giving students ample opportunities to succeed.

David is a fantastic person. Very funny and approachable. His lecture notes are usually really helpful. His practice tests are pretty accurate to the exam. Sometimes lectures are a little hard to follow. Really cares for his students. Highly recommend taking a class with David.
