David Kaplan

He is a really bad teacher, and he relies completely on his slow-working TA to grade everything. He makes everything he teaches seem far more complicated than it is.

In response to the last post I think he wonders why people who did poorly on the test and paper don't come to class Considering that the workload for this course is 10-15 pages of reading twice a week two short papers and two multiple choice tests I don't think people who wont even take three hours a week to come to class should complain

Professor Kaplan genuinely seems to like the subject, but he approaches teaching in a very pretentious and condescending manner. His tests are unreasonably difficult, and he tends to contradict his attendance policy (i.e. attendance isn't mandatory, but he doesn't understand why students don't attend this class).
