George Pepe

The most inspiring professor in my first semester at WashU. His knowledge and experience are beyond the scope of this freshman course.

Early Political Thought is one of the best classes I have taken at Wash U. Professor Pepe has been teaching for decades and he knows everything under the sun. He is passionate about what he teaches and loves talking to students outside of class. He even gave me several books. He's a little old school but I loved that. Would take again if I could!!!

Highly recommended. Not merely an enthusiastic professor, Pepe commands an encyclopedic knowledge of history pop culture. These anecdotes and a robust Brooklyn accent have given me fond memories of Latin class.

Rambles WAY too much, calls on people if they don't raise their hands (and doesn't call on you if you do raise your hand). Didn't read a single book, managed an okay grade... hated going to class on a daily basis.

Calls people out for BS. Everything this man says is genius.
