Classes were mostly online synchronous lectures. They were very paced very well, and Prof Zanarone would spend as much time as requested on any given topic. Material was usually easy to get a grasp on thanks to examples. Sometimes lectures could get boring, but overall Professor was very nice and engaging. Grades were a bit of a stress, but not bad

Not to be mean, but I think he was the worst professor I've ever had. Part of this could be a language barrier, but in general I didn't find that material was presented clearly and questions were not well answered. He was not very available outside of class. Everything left to TA's who were also very unreliable. Exam averages were constantly low.

Lectures don't teach you anything. If anything, they make the material more confusing. He's Italian, so English is not his first language, so I don't blame him too much. He left everything related to grades up to the TAs, which was a disaster because the TAs were not particularly good at their jobs. Overall a really nice and caring guy though!
