Quality: 2Difficulty: 4ESE 3260

Heavily focused on proofs and pure mathematical theory, as opposed to applications. If the former is your style of thinking, you'll be fine (with a fair amount of effort), but if you expect an applied math course take it with someone else.

Know what he is talking about however only focuses on derivations and not uses of statistics

Excellent introduction to stochastic processes that review some probability theory. I highly recommend it to people interested in those subjects.

Exams ok and curves nicely. I learned a lot from the class.

The class is relatively easy. The HW and exams are not impossible. He teaches a lot of theory and that's the hardest stuff you will see in his class.

In class, his lectures focus on the theory and derivations behind statistics, but all the hw and tests are primarily based on the book which is more straight forward and worth holding onto. There is a lot of material but on the final he allowed 2 full note pages front and back. His tests are fair but require you to really know what you're doing
