Henri Martikainen

Fantastic lecturer, had amazing typeset notes. Homeworks were very fair in terms of workload per week, but the midterm (writing this before the final, so only considering the midterm) was nightmarish. Much rigor is required and this subject is brutal. Would recommend taking this class in a light semester.

Prof.Martikainen gives great lectures and great feedback. He creates his own hundred-pages lectures notes for students in latex for the entire course and gives clear homework solution (even video solution for some problems). He's very supportive and approachable and makes you feel like you can ask him any questions.

Among the best teacher I ever met. He has video solutions, clear latex lecture notes, recorded lecture videos, and his pace and difficulty are just right.

Prof Martikainen is great. I had him for a few classes now, and always enjoy it. He posts solutions to all homework, makes typed lecture notes available, and provides a summary of topics covered in each lecture. Exams are very fair. You will do well if you review the notes, homework, and practice exam. Study main theorems carefully!!
