absolutely love diaz as a person. super chill and genuinely seems caring. however, the class is an absolute joke. definitely the easiest class i have taken in my life, to the point where it felt like a waste of time. the class was so superficial that i feel like i didnt really learn anything. beware if you are actually interested in diffeq

Professor Diaz is one of the best professors in WashU math department. He gives clear lectures and cares his students. The practice exams are helpful as they are just mirrors of the real exams, so an A is super easy in his class. I feel this course (differential equations) is really helpful for my career development as it's useful in engineering.

From what I've heard about other Differential Equations teachers, Diaz is definitely the way to go. You can ace all the exams except the final (the final was very difficult). However, since the final counts for 30% of your grade and is MC with 5pt questions, you NEED to work hard for it and be perfect. Practice exams tell you what you need to know.

Pretty chill. Content is hard, but he will tell you exactly what you need to know. The practice tests will be exactly the same as the real test, but with the numbers changed.

Humberto's DiffEq class is an ideal class. He tells you exactly what you need to know, and makes hard concepts easy. Do the practice exams. Humberto Diaz is a professional mathematics teacher; not only will you learn Differential Equations, you will feel better about your math skills. Very accessible. TAKE HIM FOR DIFF EQ!!!!!

Diaz is a clear lecturer, teaches concepts well and outlines what you need to know. He devotes lectures before midterms to test review. Extremely easy tests; If you knew how to do the practice test, you were set as the real deal is essentially a carbon copy. Crowdmark homeworks were challenging and sometimes unrelated to lecture topics, however.

Gives clear lectures. There could be fewer homework problems, though.
