Jon is one of my favorite professors at WashU. He was always willing to help, and he genuinely cared about his students. The class content was also interesting, and I learned a lot from his lectures. There are 2 exams in the class that were somewhat easy if you took the time to understand all class concepts. Participation also really matters.

Bogard is hands down the best prof I've had in Olin. But, this class is honestly a lot of work and requires a time investment in exchange for a good grade. Midterm was tricky, and the curve was generous. The group cases are a toss up. You have about 2 group cases and an individual case, and then a final group project at the end. You have reading quizzes at the beginning of every class which are HARD, but only make up a small amount of your grade. Biggest piece of advice would be to participate in class a lot and go to office hours for the cases.

Jon is great at lecturing and makes the class overall awesome. One thing I didn't like was that there were a few seconds of participation and then back to classwork. His inconsistent participation requirements make the lectures a little confusing. Take this class if you are extroverted.

He is easily the most caring professor at WashU. Wants you to succeed and is there to help you. So enthusiastic and lectures were really interesting. I hope to take another class with him before I graduate. Truly one of the best out there

One of the most engaging and fun classes I have taken at WashU. A decent amount of work and reading. I took the class at 8:30AM and it is one of the few classes where I am not clock watching the whole time. Class is fun, prof is super nice (brought popcorn and candy for us), and even listens to his student's feedback.

one of the most engaging and energetic classes. While this may be welcomed by students looking for an energy boost in the morning hours, it was a bit overwhelming for me. He makes cold calls in the middle of class to ask surprise questions. I prefer a quieter, more organized class, so Jon's class didn't work well for me.
