Karthik Ramanathan

I found physics to be rather challenging, but Dr. Ramanathan's lectures were very clear and helpful! He checks in with the class intermittently to ensure that the material is understood, and he presents numerous practice problems so that you can see the material being applied. There were also a lot of very cool physics demonstrations!

I'm sad to see that he is not teaching Physics 192 next semester. He explains things very clearly and maintains a clear structure of the class.

Prof. Ramanathan is very kind, his lectures are sometimes slow, but overall decently engaging.Make regrade requests on exams because he usually finds a way to give you a few extra points (assuming there's some merit to your appeal). Watch that your hand doesn't go above your shoulder if you don't want to instantly be called on :)

Great lectures for a challenging physics class. Loves to answer questions, is super engaging and polite. Makes awkward eye contact with you mid lecture though. He's super interesting and I genuinely enjoy this class.
