Gotta agree with the below post-- took this class P/F and very glad I did so. Got a C- on my first essay which admittedly wasn't very good, tried a different approach on the second one and got a C+. Exams are better, but only slightly so, and focus on specifics from arguments rather than main takeaways. Pretty aggravating.

Very interesting class material, but professor was underwhelming. Took months to get exams and papers back and despite this, graded extremely harshly. His exams required ultra specific answers that nobody thought they needed to know. Nobody I know got A's in this class and he also would grade essays based on whether he agreed with your opinion.
