Tom Field

Tom Fields is the man. Probably in the top 3 professors I have ever had. He makes dry, complex topics easy to understand and engaging. I think other professors at Olin should use him as a gold standard on how to teach classes - he clearly puts tremendous thought into the curriculum. I cannot imagine anybody disliking him.

Professor Fields is awesome...but can we have some cases that aren't from the 1980s?

Did everything he could to offset these issues: short time to cover the material, 100% online (due to COVID-19). Was always available to meet 1-on-1 or group. Funny, warm, and wicked smart! Nothing intimidating about him. Can't say the same for the content... The exams were really tough, but grading was fair.
