Tomy Ames

Tomy Ames was such an amazing professor. This class was, for the most part, a "hands-on" learning experience. I will always remember his teaching for the rest of my career path.

Professor Tomy is a very insightful educator. In the class, he never gives out answers; instead, he lets students think hard and debate with each other, so that the classroom allows different idea to exist, but also give students a chance to cross-examine their own ideas. As long as you write with effort you will receive a decent grade.

Professor Tomy is very funny and told a lot of stories during class. There was a lot of reading but he also used podcasts and youtube videos which made things easier. Most of class was talking about the readings and debating. His grading at the beginning was easier than at the end but I also got a lot of extra credit so still ended up with an A.
