He's a sweetheart. He didn't put up with slackers or cheaters, but if you showed him you cared/were actually trying, he would go to the ends of the earth to help you understand the material.

This guy literally went out of his way to lower the GPA. He was fairly helpful if you met with him, but if not then you'll just remember him as mean-spirited.

he's one of those teachers you don't appreciate until much later when you realize that he's the only reason you understand java at all. also, while he pretends to be strict and tough, he's actually a teddy bear and is nice and understanding about pretty much everything.

Im pretty sure he's a TA (or at least was), but he was awesome in CS 1. He held the best review sessions, explained concepts clearly, and was really understanding and flexible. Sometimes he had to be strict which scared some people, but he was always willing to help and was on top of everything.

He was mean spirited and was especially mean to certain members of our class.
