Wren Henderson

2-4 hrs/week

SUCHH interesting content, but Dr. Henderson is not the most engaging professor, and most of the discussion relies on students. If you're not a big participator you'll still do fine, but class will be a bit of a drag. Dr. Henderson isn't the easiest grader, so be simple and concise in your writing. Don't try to do anything crazy, and take advantage of office hours. Don't take this class unless the content is something genuinely interesting to you and you want to improve your academic writing skills.

One of the best CWP teachers out there!! In-class discussions were incredibly engaging. Michael was willing to spend a lot of time outside of class to help you with your drafts and would give you tons of constructive feedback. Learned so much and will miss this class a lot!!

One of my favorite professors last semester. He taught me so much about writing while allowing us to have fun with the class theme(dreams and nightmares) His passion and love for the readings were infectious and we had some really good discussions. I would take any other class that he is teaching. Will genuinely miss the class!!

Class discussions were always very engaging. Professor Henderson gave useful feedback for every essay assignment and was always friendly and helpful! He also talked about writing styles and how to write well throughout the semester, which taught me a lot and will be using those techniques for my future writings!
