Marketing Strategy

MARKETINGOLIN BUSINESS SCHOOL

Successful business plans are dependent on well-defined and carefully crafted marketing strategies. In this course, students will explore the interconnections between business strategy and marketing strategy through a series of lectures, case discussions, and participation in an online marketing simulation exercise. The course also places heavy emphasis on the discussion of topical marketing issues faced by companies in the current environment. Students are required to read the relevant business press and bring real world issues into the class for brainstorming and interactive discussion. Through this process, students will become astute observers of the strategic trends in marketing across a variety of industries.

Perfecto is a great professor, she is engaging and makes the course relevant for students. She cares for students and if you go to office hours she will answer your questions and give you lots of support. She is super understanding of students and will do her best to help you do your best.

What a fun class. Stress free, the projects were fun, and I loved the simulation that lasted the whole semester. He's eager to help you with any problems, and lectures well. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Probably one of the most useless classes I have ever taken. None of the material presented was new, and Professor Chan was not particularly comfortable with the MarkStrat simulation that we spent the second half of the semester doing.
