Determination of prices; distribution of national income; theory of production. For a thorough introduction to economics, "Introduction to Macroeconomics" should also be completed.

Professor Rodgers gave good engaging lectures, and focused heavily on understanding and not just memorization. The tests have a lot of multiple choice and were not too hard.

Kind and helpful prof! Does have pop quizzes so attendance isn't technically mandatory, but skip at your own risk. Generally very fair, has consistent homework that isn't super easy but gives ample time and resources so it's doable. Only caveat is isn't super flexible--had an A all semester and final docked me just below, and she wouldn't round.

She doesn't really teach, but intro to micro isn't that difficult. She gives out a lot of extra credit and the exams are moderately difficult. However, she assigns tons of (busywork) homework that can be hard to remember to submit and you need them for your grade.

Prof. Moore is so amazing and a great teacher. Her lectures were easy to follow, and she is very helpful in clarifying any concepts. She's also just so cool and accomplished! I genuinely feel like I learned a lot in her class, and the workload is not bad at all. Read the syllabus and show up to class (sometimes there will be pop quizzes).

Prof Moore is really great! As a nonecon related major I did find it a lil difficult but she's open to questions. Makes lectures engaging with interactive lessons even in big lecture hall. She loves her work and I a lot of the content is interesting. 5 pop quizzes, but it's open note w/ a partner and u get a drop, so not bad at all. Would recommend

Prof. Rogers taught micro well. He makes funny jokes during lectures, but I don't even think he's trying to be funny. Definitely knows his stuff and an interesting person to talk to.

You need to teach yourself the material. Exams are extremely difficult, and class averages are low. Grading system is weird, so the final can make or break you. If no micro background, don't take it because you'll be very stressed when tests come around. Wish he taught actual tough stuff more than rambling for the entirety about stupid concepts.

If you actually want to learn something in microeconomics, then you should choose Professor Bandy! She is really caring and completely accessible outside the lesson. She cares a lot about whether you fully understand one concept, and her lessons are really fun!

Prof. Rogers is a good person but lectures are him mansplaining simple topics. While I appreciate the detail, we never get to actually difficult content, and the tests are literally testing on stuff we didn't learn in class and had to self-teach via textbook. For those taking micro for the first time, you need to read and practice on your own.

She gets a lot of hate, but she's honestly one of my favorite professors. She's funny (even though her humor seems to go over a lot of people's heads), and while some say she is hard to understand at times, if you seek 1 on 1 help things will become clear. Would skim through lecture slides before each exam and had no issues getting good grades

She's highkey funny but like nobody in my class laughed. Ultimately, if you've never taken micro before it'll be a bit challenging and you'll need to like be a good student, but Bandy is supportive and helpful.

Professor Moore is incredibly intelligent and good at teaching. Lectures were clear, along with expectations for homework and exams. I truly felt like I learned so much in this intro class. Hoping to take another class with her in the future.

Professor Bandy is not at all as bad as some people make her seem. She sometimes over-explains concepts, but other than that her lectures are engaging and clear. I think microeconomics can be more easily understood if you have experience in calculus and macroeconomics, but it isn't necessary. Test are extremely easy if you study.

Professor Moore's class was a great experience! She made a subject that could have been dry and difficult feel fun and engaging. Her lectures were creative and refreshing, and it was clear she put effort into making the material enjoyable. She genuinely cares about her students and was always available to help. Highly recommend!

Bandy gets a bad rep, but I didn't dislike her at all. Her class is fairly difficult, and her explanations can leave the class confused often, but she truly cares and tries her best. She is a very lively person, and she's not afraid to crack a joke. My advice is to read the module in the textbook before class so you have a better understanding.

Moore was a great and engaging professor! Her lectures are a bit fast paced, but if you do the problem sets every other week, go to office hours for them, and review her slides before exams you’ll do just fine.

Bandy's lectures are in-depth, though admittedly, often leave the class confused. Push through the discomfort! I think everyone in that class experiences a point where they don't understand the material: it's hard for Bandy to explain things because a lot of it IS supposed to be very intuitive. Read the textbook if you have to, most people didn't!
