Ham is genuinely a great teacher. This class is not easy by any means. Show up to class, take notes, GRIND practice exams before the exams. But you will truly understand financial accounting after this class. He makes it seem so straightforward.

Great professor who excels at giving direct lectures with the perfect amount of examples. He frequently let us out a little early which I appreciated. Everything you need to know for the quizzes/exams is taught in class. Make sure to do a good number of the practice tests before the exams as the questions are pretty similar.

Professor Ham is my favorite professor I've taken so far at WashU! He is a great teacher and explains everything very well. ACCT 2610 is not an easy class, but he makes the concepts easy to understand, while being an all around cool guy. Reading the book is not necessary, but I would highly recommend reading the chapter before class.

Chad is awesome! Has a very direct teaching style and is very clear on what is being tested. Readings not required but are definitely helpful as he goes over the same material in class. Very understanding and an overall great professor.

Awesome and caring professor. Class lectures are super straightforward and everything you need to know for the quizzes/exams is on the slides so there's no need for the book. Midterm exams are super straightforward, but the last chapters are painfully difficult so study hard for the midterms to pad your grade before a tough final exam.

Professor Ham is amazing. If you have the opportunity to take accounting with him, do it! He's a great teacher and has a personality that makes a rather dull subject manageable. As others have said, the tests are pretty straightforward without any surprises.

Professor Ham made a class I was dreading to take into my favorite of any I have taken in the business school. Crystal clear lectures that explain exactly what you need to know. He tests what he teaches, no surprises. Great engaging personality.
