Debra Krolick

Dr. Krolick was fantastic in class. She had a low key sense of humor. I think she may have been a backup singer for the B-52s at some point. She knows financial accounting inside and out. Highly recommended - IF and only IF - you actually want to learn the material. Favorite phrase, "Assets are liabilities waiting to happen." Think about it.

I think professor Krolick did her best trying to make the class interesting, but I have to say the materials are boring. The pressure of an exam the next day can't even excite me up enough to study the night before. I don't think the optional homework are worth doing. Just go to class everyday and do the past exams you will be fine.

LOVED Krolick and her class. Approaches concepts in multiple ways to accommodate all learning styles. Gives optl hw to do, just suck it up and do it and you will get an easy A. Exams straightforward, gives out past exams to study from. Grading-curved, but fair. Attendance optl, but highly recommended. Made me interested in finance!

I would definitely go to class. Professor Krolick is a really nice person and notices who attends and who skips (yes even in such a large class). Besides that, you will learn the material well by going to class. The class is curved (and needs to be), mostly because of people who skip class.

Great professor, horribly boring material. Krolick makes accounting somewhat bearable but I could never force myself to most of the optional homework. Definitely possible to make a good grade in this class, but it's so easy to put this one on the backburner.
