as long as you know what is on the slides, you should be fine on the exam. does show videos and gives examples, but sometimes what she said felt very memorized and less like she was teaching in the moment.

Her music at the beginning of class is best part. She comes across as kind and helpful in class, but in office hours she seems annoyed and cold.

Willroth was a good professor, I just didn't like how she wrote her tests. She didn't provide many practice questions unlike Bergstrom, which made it difficult to properly prepare for the tests. On top of that, the test questions were worded differently so it was harder to succeed compared to her practice exams. She's cool though.

Dr. Willroth was a great lecturer! I found her lectures to be engaging (especially with the Think Pair Shares), and she clearly outlined what would be tested on exams. The slides didn't contain everything mentioned in class, so you had to take notes.

She's a good professor, just not very enthusiastic. If you can take the goat Brian Bergstrom, take Berg. Anyways a great class, very doable exams, interesting slides.

Willroth always gave a very intellectual vibe! Her lectures were very clear, informative, empirical, and well-prepared. That said, compared to Bergstrom, her exam was a little more tricky, yet still manageable. Overall, though, she is great!

Professor Willroth makes it clear on what will be tested through her learning goals on slides. You don't need to read the textbook. She provides practice quizzes and resources to aid learning. You can skip her classes and just look at slides she posts and you will still do fine.

Super nice and played music in the beginning of class. Test was reasonable and there was nothing super surprising on it. Class could be super easy if you just stay on top of your notes and work.

Very solid. No complaints-- she gave review questions and was very clear about what would be on the exam. Engaging lectures too.

She was fine, but my least favorite of the three intro psych professors. Her lectures were very similar to the textbook so if you read it you don't feel like you need to come to class. I like how she plays music at the start of each class, she goes at a good pace and is happy to answer any questions.

Very organized and clear about what to expect on quizzes. Would definitely take a class with her again

Very clear with what content will be on the quiz (has learning goals and practice quiz questions after each lesson). Ultimately cares about the success of her students and very open to feedback (especially during the mid-semester evaluations). Lectures are kinda dry.

Pretty easy. Out of the three intro psych professors for the fall course, she had arguably the easiest quizzes. She also took student feedback into account and incorporated more quiz practice in class. Always was clear about what would be on the quiz. Lectures were boring sometimes.

Very clear with what will we will be tested on. Good lecturer but sometimes hard to pay attention. Ultimately easy class and quizzes are mostly based on the lectures so you don't really need to read the textbook.

Professor Emily Willroth was awesome, and her lectures were amazing, and my only critique is her slides for her lectures were a little text-heavy but theyre posted every week so you can review them, so its not hard to do good in the course

Dr. Willroth is a decent lecturer. She has good pacing and presents the material in a clear and digestible way. She is also pretty good at writing quizzes--the questions felt fair and were not too confusingly worded. She played music at the beginning of class, which was nice. Overall, the atmosphere was comfortable whenever she was lecturing.
