Harsh grader but ok professor

If you want to learn real world concepts and applications, Hafer is a great professor. She has a unique take on teaching, often asking students to explain concepts by writing a haiku. While it certainly is unique, she cares about her students. Put effort into every assignment, big or small, and the tests and short answers will come very naturally.

Funny teacher. Makes lectures interesting by giving real life examples/jokes. Tests are easy, but class organization is poor so it can get confusing.

She goes off on tangents so you dont know what material you need to know vs what is just extra. Her exams arent too bad and she allow retakes which means you can do it with a partner. Doesn't tell your grade till the end and homeworks were graded by TAs and didnt really compare with exams at all.

Avid trick question enjoyer. Attendance was not mandatory and the class itself is easy content, but random in-class quizzes and poor communication make it near impossible to gauge coursework expectations or how to study. Organization was poor.
