For CWP 1501: Ampersand Ireland Dr. Clark was an amazing professor! The class is discussion-based, so it's important that you do the readings. The classes are always very engaging, and Dr. Clark clearly cares about the ideas/perspective of every student. I learned a lot and really enjoyed myself.

Protect this man at all costs. He is such a wonderful professor and person. If you need to take Argumentation, make sure it is with him. The class is a very low commitment, just a few workshops and essays during the semester, which he grades generously as long as you put effort into it.

This professor was the best college writing professor ever! The way he engages with the class and encourages participation both in class and on writing assignments! Definitively learned a lot about Irish culture and writing! Would take again!

10+ hrs/week

Mr Clark is a very supportive teacher, though he tends to assign a lot of assignments along with being a very tough grader. To do well I would recommend participating in class as much as possible and even talking to him after class when possible. Mr. Clark does reward this as he round up my grade without me needing to even ask which was much appreciated.
