Quality: 5Difficulty: 4PSYCH 1000

I thought he is really experienced at giving lectures, and he is young so he is gonna improve, quizzes were a little difficult but you are going to do good in the class

He goes too fast for most people in lectures. I don't know if he really knows what he is talking about. hes nice and you can tell he cares but the class is too large for any meaningful relationship with him. easy class though. its just ap psych

His lectures are great! He uses a lot of vivid examples and writes everything super clear on his powerpoints. I really got interested in Psychology because of is class.

Very earnest and tries to make the class feel relatable and fun. His slides were very wordy but I was able to keep up, it helps if you've read the textbook so you know what he's talking about beforehand. I felt like he was in the middle of the three intro psych professors.

He's good at lecturing, albeit a bit fast-paced. He rewords material in a way that is more comprehensible and tries to explain concepts. As his specialty is learning, he (usually) knows what techniques to use during lecture to maximize our learning. Quizzes were quite difficult, but he cares about students. Slides contained salient information.

Colvett is clearly passionate about psychology, but his lectures are EXTREMELY fast-paced and his slides are very word-heavy. Even when typing the information during lecture, it is nearly impossible to get all of the key concepts down. His quizzes are pretty difficult, too. This aside, he is very accessible outside of class and is easy to talk to.
