Jeff Hamilton

It feels like Prof. Hamilton is slightly overhated based on the existing consensus. Lectures are indeed erratic and feel slightly irrelevant at times, and overall class organization, e.g., assignment deadlines & points breakdown, could definitely use more work. However, I do like his enthusiasm, and the one-on-one conferences actually felt helpful.

was being transferred into his section from another one because his section had too little people, says alot about him. Have absolutely no idea what his lectures is about, his class calendar is confusing and he isn't very fond about different opnions. I will say he grades easily but erratic, you never know what you are going to get.

Hamilton gives pretty bland, borderline monotone lectures. He's a bit of an awkward fellow, but not in the charming way, more in the sit-in-silence-for-30-seconds-while-he-waits-for-someone-to-react-to-his-joke way. I wouldn't say I learned anything from the class. Assignment expectations are arbitrary and at times unreasonable. Easy grader though.
