Lamar is an interesting and engaging lecturer. It was great to learn from someone with as much field experience as he does. The issue with him is that he is great at explaining concepts, but when you get practice problems, it seems like he just expects you to figure it out. He is available, but his office hours are packed. Overall AMAZING professor

Lamar is an arrogant professor who doesn't teach much. He just likes to hear himself talk.

This class is kind of interesting, but it is hard for some freshmen. Make sure to read everything and print the slides before class. (Many freshmen are not prepared.) In general, the outline of this class is not very clear and many freshmen feel uncomforateble to study without a textbook.

Great professor, albeit intimidating. Is accommodating and helpful outside of class. Rewards those who speak up and contribute often and intelligently in class.

Good teacher. Easy concepts. The class takes some getting used to, but once you figure out what is asked (especially on tests) it is quite easy. Make sure you participate in class. Study all assignments and practice material.

I personally did not like him that much because I thought he was a bit boring. He goes off on tangents though, and those are interesting. Otherwise, GO TO REVIEW SESSION, REVIEW NOTES/READ EVERYTHING and try hard. It's a difficult class, but not impossible.

It's a pretty tough class. It get's less difficult by the end as you begin to understand what the professor asks for. He's a great guy, and an extremely knowledgeable professor. I definitely recommend him.

very easy class. keeping with the b school tradition of not having any challenging concepts and tests are easy along with huge boosts for participation

This was my favorite class of the semester by far, I had a really great time and I am entirely confident that it was because of this professor.

Good professor. Tests are mostly trick questions and aren't very well written, but he will give points back on regrades.

His class is pretty tough, and requires work. The tests are challenging. But he REALLY teaches you the material, and I am pretty convinced he knows everything about everything. You can ask him any business question about any market, and he will not only have an answer, but will have a 15 minute answer. I really recommend him,this guy is the MAN!

Lamar is the man. He's very straightforward in his teaching and answers questions well. He's is extremely funny, but not everyone seems to understand his humor. His tests are very fair and the class is not especially hard. You don't really have to do all those readings.

awesome prof- tough class but he explains it well and lays it out in a way that is understandable.

Professor Pierce is an incredible teacher! I highly highly suggest taking his class! All his lectures are extremely interesting and he uses class participation very well. But, don't kid yourself, management is a very tough class with tons of reading. The tests are very hard and random. He will raise grades up to a letter based on participation!!!
