Professor Chakraborty is a very fair grader for the few assignments that you are graded on in this course (3 exams for 75% of the grade) and very generous and helpful during office hours for the homework. The fundamentals of the course are covered very quickly at the start, so you may get lost if you have misunderstandings in the first few weeks.

Lectures were definitely middling but nothing unexpected. He made the first exam challenging and completely overcorrected for the following exams due to students underperforming; nice guy but failed to give me a concrete understanding of the statistics principles he tried to teach

Lectures are boring and confusing. He's a really funny guy and is really lenient with grading (sometimes too lenient), I just wish that his lectures were better. Halfway through the class I just decided to stop showing up and teaching myself the content using the textbook.

Hilarious. Loved him. Not gentle and definitely doesn't hide it when he thinks a question is stupid. Super fair grader and really wants every student to succeed. Go to lecture, he will tell you exactly what is going to be on the exam. Lectures can be boring but that's really the fault of the content. He tries to make it fun.

Extremely condescending, discourages asking questions and grades harshly/unfairly. Absolutely do not recommend.

Solid statistics class, very similar to AP stats if you took that in high school. Chakraborty wants everyone to succeed, can sometimes be hard to follow but as long as you do the textbook homework problems and understand them, you'll be good for the midterms. A final project was in place of the final exam, which was nice
