Easy concepts taught with needlessly difficult exams and a grading procedure that makes no sense. Even students who did their work and contributed to lecture discussion would struggle to succeed. Gave us a private company for our final group project, so the data we needed was mostly unavailable. Did not communicate the week leading up to the final.

Though the material wasn't extremely difficult, Colatat makes it intentionally harder than it should be. Exams are always a time crunch. He's condescending and often late. He was unresponsive for a whole week at the end of semester. The two-hour final ended up being an hour final because he was late. I would not recommend taking MGT with Colatat.

Professor Colatat's lectures were always engaging. It was apparent that he really enjoyed teaching the material and was well prepared for class every day(even in his attire). He's very approachable, but has (at times) tough expectations of his students. The TAs often did a better job explaining problems than him.

Class was rather boring given the material, but he didn't really make it any more interesting. Tests not always designed well and answers to questions seemed dogmatic at times. Such arguable questions couldn't even be answered or explained well by the TAs, indicating that the class is not structured well in the first place.

Awesome professor and great class. Group and assignment heavy, plus there is a mandatory participation aspect of the class. Colatat is excited about the subject and dynamic, which can make a dull topic more palatable.

Colatat is really passionate about what he's teaching and comes super prepared for his lectures. He tries to encourage class participation and keeps the lectures interactive. He also attempts some humor by relating things to current events or pop culture. Always dressed to impress, and an all-around good professor.

I would take his class again. Super helpful and really passionate and nice to the students.
