Pili Cuairan Chavarria

She is an EXPERT on all things museum, she shines best when she shares her insider knowledge in how to run a museum & create exhibitions. She teaches the art of museology & critical thinking which is useful in any other space, gives good feedback on essays. Deeply cares all ALL students & their Spanish no matter if you are a native speaker or not.

She seems interested in her subject but is just starting out teaching so definitely needs to figure out her style and presence. Lectures are not very engaging and she doesn't have much control over the class. A bit disorganized. Moderately accessible but not that involved in terms of working with/responding to individual students' concerns.

Prof Pili is one of the best Spanish teachers I have ever had. She makes you feel so comfortable speaking in her class and always checks in to see how you are doing. She cares so much about each student and its very clear she enjoys her job. 10/10 recommend
