She talks or talks to herself most of the time which is really dull. Readings not heavy, no test or quiz on the reading, just need skim thru a bit before class. Workload is fine. Compare to other cwp teachers, she is good.

So hard, but so worth it if you’re willing to do the work. Jamie not only gives honest and helpful critiques but also takes time in the class to help you understand your creative practice as a whole and how to cultivate your inspirations. Just be ready to work really big, like 4ft x 5ft big.

If you make it look like you are putting in a lot of effort she will grade you generously. Half assed my papers and still somehow had an A+. Also, she cancels class randomly/leaves early for things and gets distracted fairly easily (we spent like 30 minutes on catgpt watching it respond with meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow)

Prof. Adams is very caring and gives excellent feedback on papers. Workload is manageable, but lectures can be dull. As others have said, she's disorganized. She's canceled class last-minute multiple times and takes a long time to grade papers.nnAlso, for D&N, she chooses a lot of horror media for assignments, so watch out if that's not your thing.

Rachel was amazing! She's a bit disorganized, but keeps class fun and engaging. She gives useful essay tips and is a nice grader. Definitely participate in class, that is really important!

Classes are unorganized. Takes her months to give feedback. She never submits grades so you never know what grade you have currently in the class Grading is tough and very unclear. Hard to learn from her.

Professor Adams was great! I had her over the summer for FSAP. She is very helpful when you need it and class was very laidback. Would take her again!

Really great professor. Knows how to keep things light, fun, and engaging. The Dreams and Nightmares theme is really cool to explore because you get to analyze interesting topics like the supernatural. The film analysis section is very interesting because it's something different than just analyzing text. Fun way to get the CWP credit.

Easy way to get your CWP credit. The short creative writing assignments at the beginning of the semester were fun and engaging while the longer essays had genuinely interesting topics (ex. metaphorically analyzing a movie) and were graded fairly. Minimal reading.

Jamie's assignments were ridiculously hard. His assignments were bizarre and forced us to create work that reflected poor taste. I hated his class- it made me question my artistic ability and interest in art in general.
