Prof. Martin, while sometimes difficult to understand, is very motivated about teaching accounting. Her tests aren't the easiest, but quizzes tend to be very easy. She doesn't assign homework, but the recommended problems definitely help.

An excellent teacher. Well explained, interesting material, and fair tests. Plus if you participate in class she gives out candy. The course is curved too so that's a nice addition too. Attend class and do the practice problems and it's an easy A, regardless of what lazy B Schoolers may say.

Very nice woman, but the class did not take her seriously and she had no control. It was also hard to understand her with her accent, but what can you do. Not a terribly hard class, but it's easy to get caught not going to class and falling behind.

Can be hard to understand at times...lots of time wasted in class due to clarity issues. Looking over the slides in my room at night proved more useful than going to class. Go to class if you want, but it's not necessary.

I really liked prof. Martin. Her class was pretty boring, but accounting in general is pretty boring. I didn't find her very hard to understand, more that she would ask obvious and sometimes pointless questions. But in the end her tests were easier, the grades turned out well and I learned the material really well.

Prof. Martin is very knowledgeable and a great teacher overall...she is willing to help her students and offers plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Strongly recommend the class...

Professor Martin may at first come off as difficult to understand, but once you really begin to talk to her you'll find out she really cares about her students and will work hard to help you succeed. She does have an accent, but I think, as long as you read the textbook, the information is still clear. She is a fair grader and nice!

This teacher shamelessly plagiarizes the work of other ACCT profs simply to minimize her own effort. She takes PPT slides from other professors and reorganizes them so they don't appear identical; the result is an incoherent, disorderly presentation that she can't explain because she DIDN'T write it. She is HARDLY a professor worth taking.
