While the course itself was not challenging, she led lectures like a high school classroom. Lots of time-wasting learning exercises that didn't impart any knowledge. Additionally, I didn't feel that she treated me like a real person, often speaking in a condescending tone.

Cares a lot about her students, gives good feedback, and is very accessible outside of class. Lectures can sometimes get dull and you might feel like you're back in high school. Very kind and wants everyone to succeed. The reading schedule can get heavy but is mostly manageable.

By far the best professor Ive had at WashU. Genuinely cares about the mental health and wellbeing of her students and goes the extra mile to make sure we are doing well. In addition, extremely helpful when answering emails/office hours and will help guide you no matter how lost you feel in writing. Definitely the most helpful prof and kindest heart
