this was the hardest class i’ve taken by far. the tests were basically impossible and they really did nothing to help us study or improve

Super hard class. Not a very interesting class or lecturer. The tests are super hard. Pay attention to things she says in class that are not written on slides because she will put them in the test as well. I did not enjoy it; she seemed kind of nice, though.

Just don't take the class. Was not helpful and exam was way to difficult for and Intro class.

Her lectures are hard to follow. She didn't give students enough time to look at the slides and take notes. She brought in a guest speaker for one of our classes, and the speaker she picked had a very thick accent, and most of the class couldn't understand her. I had to then go to office hours to receive help on re-learning that lecture.

I found her to be tough to work with. She puts a lot of questions on quizzes and exams that do not come from slides or lectures. I felt like I was constantly trying to teach myself the class notes rather than feeling it had been taught to me.

I found her to be very passive-aggressive. At times I had trouble with technical issues or couldn't submit an assignment due to valid reasons she would not accommodate. Her methods of teaching are hard to follow, especially as a student with learning disabilities.

The lectures were okay but more engaging than the first professor. Again quizzes were more difficult than necessary considering the lack of content on the slideshow, which made it hard to follow since you had to basically take notes on what she said bar for bar to help. Take this class in the fall if you plan on taking it.

Bugg was alright all things considered. She was slightly boring at times, but overall a pretty decent professor. Quizzes were tough, though. I thought she explained concepts well.

Honestly not the best at teaching but still I thought it was interesting. Since the class is split into three parts, you kind of have to get through it but I mean she is nice and approachable just not as engaging.

Lectures and explanations were always really clear, and quizzes reflected what was covered in lecture. Overall, Dr. Bugg was very fair and I understood what she was trying to say in lecture.

The quizzes consisted of trick questions that do not corroborate with the lectures or slides.

For the most part a good professor. Interested in the subject, gives lectures a clear structure, and answers the Piazza well. However, lectures can be a little boring at times, and she explains things in a slightly confusing way. Her quizzes were unclear and the hardest out of the three instructors', but if you do well on the others you'll be fine

She is a sweet lady, but a wolf in sheeps clothing. The course is structured like a third grade classroom in terms of STRICT rules, but you are expected to perform at the level of a grad student. AVOID THIS CLASS TO SAVE YOUR GPA. thank me later.
