One of the kindest souls at WashU. Tests were from the HW and the final literally had a 94% median. The tradeoff resulting from this class being super easy is that it may not be proper prep for future proof-based math courses. Other than that, you can 100% tell this guy knows what he's talking about and i still learned hella from this class

Undoubtedly the kindest and warmest professor; accessible in office hours; exams are easy. Lectures from textbook can be a little dry. I think he assumed students' knowledge of certain topics, which made some explanations a little tricky. As a result, I had to solidify my understanding independently.

Genuinely one of the sweetest professors I've ever had. He'd often give you the pool of problems he would pull from for the exam. Easy A, but his lectures were so engaging I ended up learning a ton. Absolute amazing professor take a class with him any chance you get

So so sweet and super nice guy. Super easy to reach and made a lot of person accommodations. Not the most engaging lectures, but at least for the class I took you did not need to go at all. Tests are super easy and based only off homework. Easy A and cool dude but if you need a prof to learn from in class probably take someone else

Professor Feres is the best and the most caring professor I met at WashU. He has made a valuable contribution to the Freiwald Scholar program and to the department. His enthusiasm for teaching mathematics serves as an inspiration for students to acquire knowledge. Professor Feres is super accessible outside of class and a real expert in math.

Feres is one of the friendliest guys on this campus. He can be a dry lecturer at times, but he teaches straight out of the textbook, so attendance isn't mandatory. His grading is incredibly easy: tests are entirely based on the homework and most (75%+) of the class ended up in the A range. Take him if you can!

He is a fantastic instructor, who clearly enjoys what he is teaching, which makes his lectures very interesting to watch. He made Calc 3 seem like a breeze, and is excellent at answering questions

He's very cute. That's what he has going for him more than anything. He's a very boring lecturer. About 70% of students are present at any given lecture. His exams are all questions from the book work, so that makes the class pretty straight forward.

RF: a terrific teacher, an extraordinarily kind man, and a truly brilliant individual. Exams are very manageable if you do the assigned problems.

Renato is a true champion. He wears cool flannels, is a boss, and his class is pretty easy

Cares a lot about his students, very nice man and will dedicate himself to making sure you understand the topics. Tests are extremely easy and it's quite fun to attend his lectures.

Prof Feres is great. His lectures feel a lot like he's just having a conversation with you, unlike teachers with which you feel a strong disconnect. Speaks slowly which is good, though not very loud. In class he leans more towards the theory stuff (harder) but tests only on what's in the book (easier). If you do your homework you're set.

He was very helpful and was concerned for his students. Wanted to make sure we understood the material, and was very good at answering questions thouroughly. Nicest professor I've ever had. Tests were easy, and the final was a take-home. Feres is a great guy.

feres was a great guy and he could always spend a long time helping me when i needed it (and boy did i need help)...but i only needed help because his lectures were so hard to understand and the textbook explained things just as badly.

one of the nicest professors I've ever met. He met with me and helped me for hours and I was even in his class.
